Start with real decisions
People can begin with legislation currently before the Australian Parliament and with community issues that matter now.
Practical systems for reliable information, democratic participation and collective decision-making.
Our current major work is the Vote4Democracy Project — developing civic infrastructure that helps people understand decisions being made in their name, identify what matters to them, and participate between elections.

Verify Pty Ltd currently has no employees. The work is led by founder Thor Prohaska and developed in collaboration with a growing group of people contributing ideas, experience, knowledge and practical support.
A significant part of the present work is occurring through the Lawnton Community Catchups on Brisbane’s north side, where democratic ideas can be developed and tested with real people around real issues.

The longer-term goal is common civic infrastructure spanning local, state and federal democratic activity.
How can society organise the knowledge, experience and judgement it already possesses so that people can participate meaningfully in the decisions that affect them?
Thor Prohaska’s path to Verify has included the early development of Australian snowboarding, the conception of VoteWrap, Anthem Australia, technology prototypes and seven campaigns for elected office.
